Class Descriptions

Hatha Flow /with CoreBells

Hatha Yoga is the classical form of yoga postures and breathing that revitalizes the body physically, mentally and spiritually. It is an uplifting practice that increases muscle tone, improves flexibility and concentration, detoxifies the vital organs and allows you to experience a state of deep relaxation. We will add core elements to these classes too. Perfect for beginners and all levels.

Vinyasa Flow

A dynamic sequence of postures that synchronizes breath with movement, focusing on alignment and cultivating strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Sequencing may include sun salutations, standing, hip openers, back bends and seated postures. For those with extreme tightness or injury concerns, modifications for all postures will be given.  Suitable for beginners and all levels.

Vinyasa Flow Yin/Yang

Similar to Vinyasa Flow  with a focus on cooling the body and calming the mind in the latter part of the practice for evening sessions.

Vinyasa (Saturday Mornings)

This class will be structured similarly to Vinyasa Flow.  A well rounded practice with the addition of exploring intermediate and advanced postures.  Modifications will be given, come explore!

Swiss Ball Core Workout

Get on the ball! Strengthen your core, lower back, balance and posture.  Swiss ball training is dynamic, and an incredibly effective way to burn fat, shape and tone your muscles. This class incorporates a holistic approach using yoga based postures, stretches and functional strength exercises.

Intro to Yoga

Curious about Yoga?  You’ve heard friends and family talk about and you’ve read that NHL, NBA, Major League, Soccer & Pro Golfers swear by it.   Come to a friendly relaxed class that we will treat like a workshop so that you can ask questions and find out if there is a Yoga style or class here in our community that is right for you!  We welcome all levels of strength, flexibility and range of motion, just bring an open mind!

Restorative Yin Yoga

Developed by Taoist monks as part of their daily routine, yin yoga brings balance to the more yang style practice (Power Flow) facilitating a deep relaxation of mind and body. Yin postures allow for physical openings through the hips, pelvis and spine. This practice deepens your inner awareness of your emotions and promotes self healing. Perfect for beginners and all levels.
